Language levels & what you can expect your child to learn:

A1 - Kindergarten & Grade 1:

The first step to language proficiency, where learners grasp foundational skills to communicate basic needs. It covers introducing oneself, asking simple questions, using common expressions.

A2- Grade 2 & Grade 3:

Students can handle short social exchanges, understand everyday topics like family, shopping, and local life, and write simple notes and messages. This level builds on beginner skills and helps students navigate daily situations in Italian with growing confidence.

B1 - Grade 4 & 5:

At this step students can understand the main points of clear messages on familiar topics at home, school, or in everyday life. They can handle many common situations while traveling or interacting with others. Students can write simple, coherent texts and describe experiences, dreams, hopes, and opinions, giving brief explanations for their ideas.

B2, C1, C2 - Le Medie (Grades 6,7,8):

In Grades 6 to 8, students take their Italian skills to an advanced level. They can understand complex texts and ideas, communicate confidently in a variety of situations, and express their thoughts clearly in speaking and writing.

By Grade 8, students can interact more fluently, understand subtle meanings, and handle sophisticated conversations and texts with ease.
